Based at the European Operations Head Office at Hoofddorp, the Netherlands, Plantronics is recruiting for a Supply Chain Manager EMEA, who will enjoy the challenges of working in a Pan-EMEA multicultural environment and gets thrilled by the high pace and dynamics of the fast moving consumer electronics industry. This job is a full-time function.

Omschrijving

The role:
You report to the Director of Operations - EMEA and will be be a member of the Senior Operations Management Team. You will be responsible for all supply chain planning activities at a strategic, tactical and operational level for the assigned business segments with the objective to meet and exceed the set targets in areas like on-time shipment to customers, inventory and overall supply chain costs.

Main responsibilities include:
Managing a team of about 8 people, responsible for demand forecasting, inventory planning and control and the just-in-time supplies as well as the coordination of new product introductions and the end-of-life management of existing products for the European market

Mentor, counsel, coach, support and empower the team consistent with the overall Plantronics values of people, passion, teamwork, creativity and customer focus

Build, develop and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers (internal and external), customers and functional stakeholders in EMEA and globally

Create awareness of the best practices in Supply Chain Management across the entire company and contribute to initiatives to achieve Supply Chain Excellence

Define, implement and manage the Supply Chain Planning KPI's

Contribute to various cross-functional and cross-regional continuous business improvement initiatives

Education

Requirements:

University degree and APICS (or equivalent) certified

A leader in Supply Chain Management and supporting (preferably Oracle related) ERP and advanced supply chain planning systems

Minimal 10 years of hands-on and senior experience in the various areas of supply chain planning, preferably acquired in the fast moving consumer goods industries; you do know the various planning jobs inside-out and have proven managerial capabilities and senior experience in a similar role

Successful track record in achieving continuous business improvements working with and through people in a persuasive rather than directional way of working

International experience in the fast moving consumer goods industries, either sold through distributors or directly to the retail channels

Fluency in English and preferably in Dutch
