You will start your Philips career in a full scale Supply Chain Management role in one of the following areas: Purchasing, Project or Commodity Management, Supply Chain Management, Operations or Strategic Development. You will interact with customers and suppliers, as well as cross-functionally with other Philips functional areas (i.e. sales, marketing, finance, development, etc.).

In addition to the above mentioned responsibilities, this intensive development program offers:
1 on 1 coaching by senior management from the first day onwards;

We are looking for talented professionals with a minimum of 5-8 years of relevant working experience, with at least 6 years proven track record in one or more of the following areas: Supply Management (Purchasing), Product Management, Operations/Industry or Supply Chain.

Our ideal candidate should possess the following profile/skills:

An excellent track record in Supply Base Management, Supply Chain Management (Logistics, Warehousing & Distribution, Planning) or Operations and a demonstrated, strong understanding of the full value chain;
Familiarity with trends and developments within the Supply (Chain) Management function;
Understanding of outsourcing processes (OEM, ODM, EMS) in a global environment; supplier management; process improvement (e.g. Six Sigma implementation) or lifecycle management;
Experience managing external relationships with customers and/or suppliers at high levels;
People management experience in an international setting (i.e. direct reports, leveraging resources, attracting talent and building teams);
Experience with leading a successful organizational change process; and
Excellent communication skills in English and preferably one or more other languages.

*Please note: You must be geographically mobile and ready to relocate to various locations throughout Europe and Asia, such as the Netherlands, UK, France, Poland or China for your first career step with Philips.

Education

A University degree in Supply (Chain) Management, Business Administration, (Industrial) Engineering, Procurement or Manufacturing Management, preferably complemented with an MBA degree;
