MANAGER, PLANNING AND INVENTORY OPTIMIZATION

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

The Manager, Planning and Inventory Optimization is directly responsible and accountable for the planning, replenishment and optimization of approximately $100m of inventory from our global supply base to our EMEA customer base.

You lead, motivate, organize and control a team of approx 20 managers, team leaders, planners and coordinators.

You direct and administrate all processes and procedures involving inventory, including, but not limited to inventory adjustments, holds, reworks, recalls, physical inventory, internal orders and administrate activity related to serialized product returns and credits.

You are accountable for the supply aspects of the SIOP process, ensuring we run with optimized inventory to reach our desired fill rates. You are responsible of ensuring on time delivery of our products; of regular reporting of relevant metrics and initiate improvement actions; of coordinating, with the Distribution Operations Manager, the perpetual and annual cycle count programs. You ensure maximum benefits is gained from in house systems, MRP, forecasting tools and other related software.

Skills

A high sense of Ethics.
Good working knowledge of MS Office: Computer proficiency with standard software packages, including Word and Excel.
Mandatory fluency in English + French, both written and oral.
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, communication and writing skills.
Good organization skills with strong attention to detail and ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple projects .Education and Experience Requirements:
Experience in leading team of people directly and indirectly
Ability to influence at director level
At least 5 years at management
Knowledge of LSS techniques (blackbelt candidates will be preffered)

Education

Master's Degree
An APICS certificate in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) would be an asset.
MRP/Operations Management experience
Inventory control Management experience
