dynamic individual to join them at their European centre in Brussels as:
Program Manager
The Program Manager act as single global/regional interface between assigned customers
and the company to ensure that contracted service levels are constantly maintained and
improved.
Job Description:
- Initiate and drive corrective action plans and process improvements to be
executed by operations.
- Manage global/regional service performance reviews with assigned customers for
all contracted services.
- Define program requirements and develop the program management team
structure and processes around those.
- Manage definition and agreement of key performance indicators & measurement
methodologies with assigned customers.
- Manage regular service performance review processes and meetings with the
assigned customers.
- Investigate and resolve structural service issues for assigned customers and
programs.
- Deliver operational and functional process improvements & cost reductions to
assigned customers.
- Document and maintain relevant performance management information for
assigned customers such as KPI’s, business rules, operations procedures etc.
- Create visibility on operational trends and issues.
- Support the tender management teams with validation of customer requirements
and service proposals.
- Support relevant structural service improvement & innovation initiatives impacting
customers.
- Manage virtual, functional and cross BU teams around each assigned customer.
- Minimum 5 years experience in logistics operations or supply chain management.
- Minimum 3 years experience in customer relationship management.
- Minimum 2 years experience business analysis and trending in the logistics
industry.
- Excellent customer relationship management skills.
- Ability to identify and understand structural issues and trends within a complex
environment.
- Good planning and organization skills.
- Virtual/remote team management experience.
- Creative, innovative, problem solving thinking.
- Excellent understanding of the logistics market.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English).
- Strong non-verbal communication, impact and negotiation skills.
Bachelor or University degree or higher level education (major in logistics/transportation
preferred).
