Our client is a leading global integrated logistics company looking for an experienced and dynamic executive to join their Belgium operations as Business Development Manager - Spare Parts Logistics.
•Take a leadership role between the customer, SPL operations organization and Business Development environment in a way that the best solutions for the SPL business will be achieved.
•Act and respond as the SPL Solutions Design Centre of Excellence for service parts logistics and develop a close working relationship with all key Industry Managers (sales channels).
•Provide analytical and consultative skills in development, design and actual sales process of integrated service parts logistics solutions for new customers.
•Develop sales pipeline of potential customers with profitable business selling opportunities.
•Provide successful sale of integrated regional aftermarket solutions, thereby selling either directly to the customer or through established sales channels.
•Represent the SPL Business Development Team and extend the commercial flow into the operations, IT and Financial teams.
•Involve key commercial stakeholders and protect potential commercial issues.
•Ensure that commercial rules of engagement are established and maintained between the several business units.
•Ensure appropriate target lists and account plans are developed.
•Support development and implement new profitable aftermarket solutions.
•Minimum 10 years experience in an international environment (consultatively) selling service solutions.
•Minimum 5 years of working experience in service parts logistics environment.
•Excellent understanding of the principles of supply chain management and of the service parts logistics environment.
•Well developed communication and commercial skills.
•Strong leadership skills
•Good abilities to “Network” formally/informally, at senior management and executive levels, both within the organization as well as the customers.
•Strong team player
•University/Masters Degree in Economics or Logistics
