Europhia Consulting is an international recruitment and executive search company specialised in the logistics and supply chain industry. We have offices in Singapore covering the Asia Pacific region, and in the Netherlands covering Europe.

Marketing Trainee

The main responsibility of the Marketing Trainee is to develop, implement and manage some of Europhia’s marketing strategies and actions on a project basis. It is a great opportunity to gain international work experience in a young and dynamic company working in a fast growing industry. The trainee will be able to work independently on projects, which offers a great opportunity for learning and self-development.

The traineeship is for a period of 6-12 months, in our Amsterdam based office.

Job Description

- Develop and execute an international marketing plan around international recruitment services within the logistics industry.
- Conduct market research related to the company’s product and services
- Create and maintain all marketing collaterals of Europhia
- Market Europhia’s products to the industry
- Lead or participate in various projects
- Support on the European side the marketing activities for the global Supplychaincareer.com career portal which is a product owned by Europhia Consulting
- Support in the marketing of a Logistics association called VELA to assist in ‘rejuvenating’ the organization and improve the positioning with a better value proposition for new members and potential clients.
- Membership survey
- Organize 2 events
- Launch new website (currently being finalized) http://vela.nl.avantis.ms/
- Write monthly press releases on activities VELA members and association

- Interest in logistics and supply chain industry
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- International marketing knowledge
- Affinity to internet driven technologies
- Strong commercial sense
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Enjoys interacting with people in an international environment
- Familiar with Microsoft Office applications
- Able to multi-task
- Self-motivated, results-oriented and commercial sense
- Independent and resourceful
- Strong drive to succeed
